december 13: watch a christmas movie

last year, we dvr'd a ton of kids christmas shows and movies.  we hung onto them until probably late summer when i got tired of kate asking to watch jack frost in august.  i deleted them all because i figured we'd be doing the same thing in december (abcfamily on dvr).  not so - just haven't paid attention at all to the schedule and every time i look for something to record for the girls, nothing is on.  

i signed up for a free netflix trial to stream through the appletv and figured there would be plenty of the christmas stuff for my kids.  and i'm sure there is.  just not what i was looking for.  honestly, all i really wanted to find was the muppet christmas carol.  boo for netflix not having it.

so they watched a few old christmas cartoons (i feel like they could be from the 50s or 60s.. is that possible?)  kate loved what she saw so i guess i should let her watch a few more before the season is through.
