this morning when i was getting ready, kate was with me playing in the bathroom. she loves to play with anything under the sink (thank goodness the cleaning stuff isn't under there!) i often find my round brush or attachments to my blow dryer or lotions spread throughout the house. she also LOVES getting into my manicure stash:
today, she decided to display some of the nail polish bottles on top of the toilet. i think it's hilarious that this is entirely her work. she pulled each bottle out of the bag, individually, carried it over to the toilet, and placed it in its spot. she managed to get them all standing except for one. she should definitely think of a career in merchandising ;)
by the way, i'm not a big connoisseur of nail polish, and as you can see most of these bottles are way too old to even think about using (color and/or condition). in fact, there are only 4 bottles there that i currently use, and 2 of them are clear coats :) and see the purpley-blue and the yellow bottles? yeah, i wore both of those in high school (my jr. and then weston's jr. proms, respectively). time to clean out some inventory!!!

that is too cute. she's totally a girl. just watch, she'll be wanting to wear it in no time. my niece has been asking for makeup since she was 2. anyways, i also wanted to comment on how precious that picture is of kate sleeping with her little toys. It always makes you wonder what they do when they're completely alone, too cute.
How cute! I'm sure you were grateful she kept herself busy while you were getting ready. I love it when they will stay occupied doing something that does not create a big mess.
